I need advice
Hello, everyone!
So, I have a motan who is 1 year old, I adopted him when he was 6 months.
The last 3-4 days were really hard for us, because he ate some cream cheese without me or my boyfriend noticing. We know that cats are lactose intolerant so we are careful about that.
But he ate some and the next day he had some issues with his tummy. Everytime he went to the litter box to do the big deal, he ran afraidly from it while p*oping everywhere. His big deal is kinda soft, sometimes diar**ea and we thought: 'Okay, maybe he got scared because it is his first time dealing with a diar**ea', but after that, he slowly recovered and started to p*op on the carpet or even on the bed. His big deal now is really close to being soft, like it is almost like a regular one for a healthy motan. He doesn't approach the litter box. We do not know what to do. I do not know if this is something serious or something that I should worry about.
P.S. I should mention that he does not seem ill or anything, he is still full of life, he wants to play, he still tries to get some food that is not for him from us and also eats his own food. And two or three weeks ago we changed his diet from food for kittens to food for adult cats (we also took in consideration changing his food again because maybe that is the cause).
I am so sorry if anyone gets triggered by my post, but I just need some advice and please be patient and do not throw bad words at me (it is our first pet too and we are learning).
I will also be adding a picture of him, he is so cute and we love him so much!
Thank you so much!
