I Consider My Pets Family

Do you know how difficult it was to get the 4 of them in the same shot? I had to lure them with food! 😄
Anyway, they finally came out of winter storage and into their summer pond. I would've done it sooner, but I needed to make some repairs to get the pond in top condition.
Clockwise from the top: Clementine (yellow common), Snowflake (white fan-tail), Sunny (orange fan-tail), and Dusty (Shubunkin).
They might be "just" fish, but I love them and their little personalities. They will eat food directly from my hand.
They are so peaceful and relaxing to watch too! 😍
Next week, some freshwater mussels will be joining them. I'm interested in seeing how that works out.
P.S. I have a net over the pond to prevent the neighbour's cat from fishing them out. I learned the hard way, and lost 2 fish back when I started keeping them. 🙁
