I Have Lost a Beloved Pet

I have had so many pets and rehabbed wild animals. You eventually lose them all. Right now I have 3 miniature Dachshunds that are getting on in years. Time is fickle. The longer you have them, the more of a relationship you have with them. But, it also means that your time is almost up with them. I am willing to bare the pain at the end of it if it means I get to share any amount of their life and love. I find it sad that you can only have so many animals friends at one time.
