I Consider My Pets Family

My pets are very, very important to me. We allow them to sleep in bed with us, and the back seats of our cars are covered so that our dog can ride with us as often as the temperature allows. At Christmas, both the dog and cat have stockings hung on the mantle and they receive gifts just like everyone else. They also receive Easter baskets, and other surprise gifts during the year. Our grocery budget includes treats that they enjoy every day. Our cat has two kitty doors that allow her to come and go as she pleases (she doesn't leave the yard), and our furniture is covered so that the dog can stretch out on the sofa with us. I have to launder the covers weekly, but the extra work is worth it. I can't imagine life without pets.
