all the years i've lived, so far, i hear this but see the opposite happen.

Looks fade but personality is more durable. You can grow to love a person's physical features more as you love who they are. I'd not reject a girl who was fantastic just because she didn't tick an ultimate list of appearances.

But the thing you are discussing here is absolutely fantasy now..
Now people don't use those moral values which we have studied in our schools.
Personality and look never been compared .one should not be ignored if he is not in good look but have good heart and personality..
Mostly people don't go for personality ..they only want external beauty as very important aspects of life ..which is not true..but most of us live with this dilemma.
I'm happy you are sharing this...you are beautiful from outside and inside as well( I'm just hoping )..
