From the responses here it seems that 'flirting' means different things to different people; or maybe different levels of that behavior; yet people with different definitions - or none - will argue interminably and aggressively about whether it's 'good' or 'bad' - without either of them knowing what the other is talking about, what they visualise as flirtation.
