Last year I got poisoned by a relative. Yep, that happened. It was some sort of a witchcraft.

I know it sounds tarded and crazy but that's the world we still live in. It happens.

The person who poisoned me didn't intend to kill me or physically hurt me. They intended to change my perspective towards them and become more biased towards them.

It took me a good while to figure out why I got so severely sick. And the tests did eventually show traces of common witchcraft content.

Witchcraft used to be more like a religious tribal practice around here. And in some communities it still is. It is nothing like the stuff neo-pagans do in the west. It is cultural, complex and passed down through generations.

Anyways, I didn't press charges. I didn't want to start a large scale family fight. She would have been erased if they found out. She really would have. They would delete her for putting that in my water.

It was a sensitive time. Other things were going on.

She cried and asked for my forgiveness. She still reaches out and begs me to allow her back to my life. She even publicly admitted that she hurt me several times.

I have lot of enemies and I am surrounded by a big amount of stupid. I don't go out of my way to hurt people but I can't make everyone happy.

I can't risk the probability that she knew what she was doing. She just didn't care if it ended my life to make it happen.

People ask me about her all the time. And my answer is usually "she tried to harm me". Makes it sound less serious than it was and gives her the chance to outgrow her mistake.

you were wayyyyyy too nice to her by not pressing charges ... honestly I wouldn't care if she was erased (was there any likelihood she had any supporters who might try to exact revenge on you?), that was extremely effed up of her to even take that kind of chance in risking your health / life like that — even if they think they know what they are doing and it normally isn't suppose to cause harm, there's always a possibility someone could have a rare, unintended reaction

aside from lethal harm, if it's known it will still nonetheless cause discomfort, that in itself is hateful regardless of the longer intent they claimed to have

was this when you were feeling inexplicably sick back in December?

I'm sorry you had to deal with this 🤗🤗
