@NativePortlander1970 reading about it....watching videos....enough to know it's more made up crap that belongs in a side show at a circus.

@originnone Was the doc specifically about wicca? That cult is mega bullshit, started in the 50's by a misogynist named Gardner, but the more Paganistic old world Witchcraft is authentic, I studied it all decades ago during adolescence and young adulthood, and knew people involved with it as well, on a very intimate level.

@originnone Do not underestimate the ability to manipulate the spiritual plane of existence to affect the physical.

@originnone As I mentioned earlier, I have been involved with practitioners of the Craft in the past on intimate scales, I have witnessed things that would blow your mind, from hexes and curses to blessings, for all sorts of things. I remember one practitioner combined a leaf and candle spell to help her mother get out of credit card debt, the next week her mother won a $75,000 scratch off ticket.

@NativePortlander1970 I would love to see a study on it using a control group. I don't think the data would be friendly to the practice....
