Why, why why? Have I been poisoned???

When I draw something on my slate with my humble finger, the lines drawn are of orange! I remembered it was black. How did that happened? Had someone inject a pigment into my magnificent, refined fingers or witches visited my humble dwelling last night? There strange things going on here!
