I Am a Pagan Witch

How Does Energy Feel To You?... One of the things that magick is said to be is energy. So, how does that energy feel to you? How does it feel when you absorb and release it, do a ritual, cast a spell, or even meditate? When I absorb energy, it feels like it's being compressed into a sphere in the area of my belly (right above where the sacred chakra is), and the more I absorb, the more that sphere grows until I get a sense of fullness. When I release energy, I feel as if steam is rising out and off of me. If I had already absorbed energy, making it a sphere in my belly, then it spirals outward and also feels like steam. As I do a ritual, warm energy appears in the area of my stomach, spreads throughout my body, and rises from me like a calm fire. While I cast a spell, it's the same thing except that it doesn't feel like fire but mist, and sometimes a rapid release of air. When I meditate, the energy vibrates and circulates throughout my body like a steady stream of warm water. It flows as if I have another system of veins for it to freely flow through.

What about you?

I feel it through my nervous system. Depending on what I did, depending on the intensity and the intent of my work, the sensation can feel pleasant, light to strong tingles, or sometimes even pain.

I feel the tingling as well. The moment I pick up my wand, there it is.
