I Am a Satanist
I was a satanist in my teens. I’m more pagan now. But i’ve been dealing with a lot of issues lately. Also can’t afford therapy anymore...i’m considering practicing satanism again to find some sort of happiness to sustain me.

My magickal path followed much the same road. . . began with LaVeyan satanism in my teens after rejecting the fake Catholic faith my parents preached but didn't practice, then decided LaVey was too mean-spirited. Moved into wicca/paganism/shamanism in my 20's, and this had been my path (along with a sprinkling of vodou and tai chi) until very recently. Now gravitating once again to the lhp in these dark times. I feel that it's okay to be somewhat selfish, if by doing so you are taking care of yourself (because no one else is going to)
