I was listening to music by Linda Ronstadt, Andy Williams and the like. [I Am Very Eclectic]

Hardly anyone in my age range, and by that I mean even +/-10, knows about the standards anymore that make up the Great American Songbook. I get super excited when I can share a moment with them over Sinatra or Dean Martin!

@SW-User yeah, that probably did come off as condescending. It was not my intent however. Thanks for the heads up! I’ll address that. Thanks for looking out for others! 😉

Linda Ronstadt's "I Believe in You" (written and originally recorded by Neil Young) was my favorite by her.

It is refreshing to see young people interested in the crooners.
Yeah, that’s how I feel when people don’t know anything about Nat King Cole, Duke Ellington, Sarah Vaughan or Dinah Washington.

@bijouxbroussard It’s tough because they are such GREAT artists. I do enjoy being able to introduce them to others.
