Mael B, my druid!

I met Mael when I was twelve, and he was in his mid late thirties, and came to my school for two years to be a history teacher. He also taught games, and was a keen rugby coach for those two years. Teachers get moved around a lot here in France, lots of changes can happen. Since my school had a fairly strong rugby side he was moved back to his Breton place of origins.

There were a number of students he has kept in touch with, including me, because we showed a deep interest in him as an exponent of druidry and the Old Religion, and he showed us the old megalythic sites of standing stones, and taught us about their significance. Four of us have become ovates, or student druids, and Mael is now almost fifty!
