Wheel of the Year: Samhain
The Wheel of the Year is the eight major festivals, along w/ 13 full, new moons that make up the Pagan or Wiccan calender year.
The 1st one for the Northern hemisphere is called Samhain. Although all Covens or Groups are different. In general this is a night to celebrate and communicate w/ our ancestors. Also to feast & dance around a fire. The exact rituals are sacred.
My group will also be dedicating the cist in middle of the dolrum which is next to the temple. Ashes and momentos of loved ones noth human & animal will be placed in the cist on this night when the vail is thinest between the worlds.
