I Am Amazed At the Universe

I recently read a book which made me think about a new perspective on the universe.

In the end, we will be forgotten. Not by those who love us but by the universe and it could possibly be the best gift it can give us. We get this tiny sliver of consciousness that we can do what we want with knowing that we get a blank slate at the end of it. All of the heartbreak, depression, embarrassment and grief we experience gets dispersed back into the universe - to swirl amid the stars. I'm not religious at all, but if there was absolute redemption for our sins then the universe is it.

This is just a concept and I am definitely not condoning violence or any vile sins like that - sorry
