Thought of the day ->>>How else could moon have been better utilised to keep humans alive in this universe of uncertainty?

I guess moon for jupiter and Saturn take Head-on what our moon can't take when those asteroids are falling towards the sun, so that This Earth remains secure all the time. Otherwise how long does it take to wreck it from outer space.
