I Am a Child of the Universe
This morning I awoke early and sat out on my balcony looking at the yawning morning slowly rise. In such moments I often find myself having powerful moments of introspective clarity. This was one of those mornings.
I began to think about my life. My victories and my failures. Thoughtfully I considered and pondered upon the things in life that I place the most value. I imagined the super symmetry of the universe and how magnificent and unlikely sit is that such harmony and balance exists.
We are all borne of the stars. We breathe the same air. We each need water and the basic fuels to allow our body to function. I found myself feeling melancholy that people are so divisive. That having a different opinion, belief, or color can cause so much disharmony in the world.
WE ARE ALL CONNECTED. We share a universal consciousness and are bathed in the same light.
Like the song says.... "If everyone lit but just one candle.....Oh what a bright world it would be."
