I Like to Lie Outside and Watch the Stars

I've started to do this a lot recently...I love a Friday or weekend night (or any night when I don't have to be up early for work). I will make some herbal tea and and go out on the doorstep to the back garden, sit back and just stare up at the inky firmament above.

Although the weather where I live hasn't been good recently, I'm looking forward to another clear sky...

@MrsGearhead4 - the only problem is that it's pretty much overlooked by neighbours, even more so since some houses have just been built right behind my back garden. I say this because I would like to observe stars through binoculars - however, if anyone saw me out late at night with them they might get the wrong idea...

@MrsGearhead4 Yes, it's really easy to lose yourself gazing upwards...although I usually get startled out of it by cats passing through my garden, no doubt curious as to what I am doing

That's nice you have a garden.. And cats.. I wish I had all that 😊

My family used to have a trampoline they'd lay out on and watch the stars there too..
