Someone you've never interacted with in posts DM you, asks how are you.
You reply you're fine and ask them how they are.

And that is the end of the whole DM. No reply from that person anymore, at all, ever.
Has that happened to you?
Why do people do that? 🤔

Yes. It's a mystery. I usually figure while they were waiting for a response, they read my profile and gave it up as a lost cause.

OR, it's the shotgun method, where they bombard PMs to a dozen people, figuring they'll hit SOMEBODY - and somebody else is already arguing with them.
