I Love Old Time Movie Stars

I love Richard Burton! ❤ He is Welsh, and to put it quite bluntly, I love his square-shaped face and that his eye color is that pale, crystal blue! I just want to wrap my arms around him with my head against his shoulder, and hear him speak something sweet to me in that beautiful Welsh accent that he has and gaze at me with those eyes that he has! ❤️ I love how he plays Thomas Becket in the classic movie alongside Peter O’Toole called “Becket”! I would highly recommend watching it! 🙂 Here is a picture in my next post of Richard Burton from the movie (he is wearing yellow, and his character, Thomas Becket, is initially the right-hand man of the king of England
, and then as the bishop of Canterbury), and Peter O’Toole (he is wearing black, and plays Henry II of England). I absolutely love it!

He was a cutie all right. And I agree with all of it. But, honey, you must fight with all your might against attraction to the Burtons of the world. They are magnificent ice sculptures...here today, gone tomorrow.

And Richard Burton has been gone fir thirty years? Don't ever do this to me again.

@Mamapolo2016 Please don't take me seriously, here; Thank you for your concern, but I am now a full-grown adult, and I am in touch with the reality that he is not around anymore. I just like some classic film stars, and he is one of them, that's all.
@eftelingrose I was mostly kidding too.
Christopher Plummer in Sound of Music. Paul Newman in anything. Richard Harris as Arthur. Sigh.

Oh, okay! You'll have to forgive me, as I tend to take the things that people say literally a lot of the time! Thank you. 😌
@eftelingrose And I am unintentionally but naturally opaque. 😓

@Mamapolo2016 I agree with both Christoper Plummer in "The Sound of Music", as well as Paul Newman! I wish that I were more familiar with Richard Harris, though. I'll have to look him up! :)
Camelot. Bring Kleenex (I cry at the opening credits because I know what's GOING to happen).

@Mamapolo2016 No worries! It is better to be honest and admit things that might be faults, and then, other people will appreciate that, and admire you that way. :)
And, of course, Cary Grant, doing anything.

@Mamapolo2016 Oh, please don't cry! Richard Burton is in "Camelot" as well with Julie Andrews, if I remember right?

@Mamapolo2016 Cary Grant is awesome, too! :)
Different versions. Yes, you're right, but I was referring to Richard Harris, Vanessa Redgrave and Franco Nero in Camelot, 1967. Nero is pure eye candy, Redgrave at her most beautiful and Harris as the doomed King Arthur, and sexy as all get out in his own way, just rocks my world. It's a lot of fun, too.
