The Aurora in the South West

So wonderful to see with a naked eye
And to think we were trying to see Jupiter through our telescope and then this happened:

We were so chuffed becuase we never saw the colours last time and i honestly thought it was aliens 👽 😅

I saw this photo of the aurora, that someone took on the way into Edinburgh airport last night. Unfortunately the grey bit is the total cloud cover that we were under.

@Lugwho yeh we were so lucky the clouds parted at that time. We weee honestly just expecting to see jupiter and a few stars lol
