A curious cloud formation

@ArishMell The peaks of the Sierra Nevada are acting here. They are up to 13000 feet above sea level.
Already covered in snow.

I’m about 600 feet up, in the foothills.

@kodiac That's a cumulonimbus cloud - the type that produce thunderstorms.

@minoltaguy That's what they are called;nothing out of the ordinary at all.

@craig7 Nope. I saw some really cool ones over Mt. Shasta years ago.
