"You are the sky..."

Even the most self-loathing have bodhisattva heart. We are all capable of the highest level of self-awareness and recognizing our connection to all beings of this beautiful universe.

But why do we choose to be blind?

Honestly this deserves a better answer but I think its all our self absorption, not our self loathing that makes us miss the mark
@bookerdana When you cause harm to another, you hurt yourself. 💜

Sorry, deleted on accident.

@bookerdana As a non-theistic Buddhist, anyone can walk the path, regardless of its form.

Buddhist nuns and monks do this every day. We are all stuck in the wheel of samsara and we can slowly work our way to freedom. Start where you are.

We slowly chip away at our old ways, through practice. This is practical.

It's a real path, and a process. No one gets there today. Not even the many Buddhas did. One moment at a time.

"Be here now." 💜
