This was a spot known as a dead spot where there was no detectable light and then set the Hubble telescope on the largest exposure ever and after it was developed they were over 10,000 galaxies founded in this one little spot that before was thought there was nothing

Yeah. But even in a not-so-clear night affected by clouds, haze, dust etc Sirius is the easiest star to spot in a light-polluted city because it’s simply the brightest. @ike3656
@LunarOrbit Yeah that's a common mistake. It's the most famous but actually the North star (Polaris) is not that bright. It's very hard to spot in big cities with heavy light pollution like the one I live in. Its order in the scale of brightness is ~ 50.
