Did a gps clock jitter test using persistance with corn.

I used google earth to define my location and when i was at 94°, 6', 14" W I put down an ear of corn. Then i went straight west and did the same at 94° 6' 15". I then repeated both locations and found that they vary over time by +/- 22 feet. It was the same for both points.
The midpoints should be the true locations. Next I'll do north and south. I picked up the corn. Deer would eat it overnight otherwise.

Update: latitude jitter is +/- 38 feet. It also varies much faster than the logitudinal jitter did. I think the gps satellites orbit more north to south which probably accounts for it.

47° 10' 50" is now also defined.

I have pounded in a pipe at 47° 10' 50" N by 94° 6' 15", there is no mathematical significance to that location unfortunately other than that is where I will have my ashes buried under two precision ground granite blocks that used to be on servo track writers. Curiously though, it is right in front of my big bbq grill.
