From that first night camping under them as a kid .. the moon and stars have drawn me out to enjoy them. Whether alone or with someone along to share the moments with, it has always been among my favorite things to do for an hour or two. Over the last couple of years, that has begun to include some lunar photography.
I'm going out tonight to test my new camera set up on the sliver of the waxing crescent moon. Hoping to work out a couple things to be ready as the phases change the next couple of weeks. I expect I'll also take some time to take in the view .. and just "be" for awhile. Smile and wave if you join me.
@BrandNewMan It's okay, all that is understandable. Hopefully you did get to see last night's crescent although it was a thin sliver. More importantly, that you enjoyed your time with the cosmos and continue to. It so peaceful up there, it's awful about the smoke though. 😔 Look for Venus tonight, she was pretty bright last night. ✨
