Black Moon

There inside the darkened sky
The blackened moon just drifting by
A heart eclipsed
A tear stained eye
A soul adrift
Refused to cry

A single star to make a wish
A hope that’s greater than the kiss
A dream that’s dreamt
and not dismissed
A fairytale
of fog and mist
