I'd be interested to know how much extra fuel was needed to handle the weight of that tiny package. I'm serious.

@RenFur I have wondered about that. But then again, Alan Shepard brought a golf ball and club!

I have read from multiple sources that each astronaut was given a weight allowance for personal items.
