Rocket Hits the Moon

I've seen the video, and it's incredible. What's the latest news on this? Was it SpaceX or a Chinese rocket? How did it cause a double crater? I imagine a secondary piece broke off, resulting in an additional crater. I'm not certain.

It was a piece of space junk that has been monitored since January. It is believed of Chinese origin. The cause of the double crater is a mystery..

@Majorlatency Thank you! I knew they were talking back in January about a rocket crash coming up. I love a good mystery, though. I think it was just part of the junk that broke off, resulting in two craters.
