Does anyone seriously believe the Earth is flat? If so, please explain why it isn't day and night everywhere at once?

I googled it:

Flat earthers generally explain why the entire world isn't in daylight at once by claiming the sun is a small, local spotlight that circles above the flat plane, rather than a massive, distant star.

@robingoodfellow I see, so the sun’s light can’t cover the earth all at once 🤦🏻
@Waveney they seem to believe the sun is like a small moving spot light. I guess because that's the only thing they can come up with.

Now if you really want to be disturbed google how many people believe the earth is flat. It's more than a few.
