Flat earth

I have a friend who is a flat earther, which of course is scientifically false. So i said, I'll buy you a ticket to Australia if you can convince me otherwise. At which point he went on about how the moon landings were all fake!

I was so, we can't be friends anymore, you're crazy.

I think some flat earthers are in such denial, that if you put them in a spaceship that blasted off and achieved Earth orbit, they would still say that they were in a room with computer generated special effects.

But have you even looked into it.

@Fairydust I have been to the Flat Earth society's web page a few times.

You should, get a good understanding from both sides, isn’t that the best way, rather than believing a bunch of freemasons that want you not thinking for yourself.

So you can make your own mind up. Not being told what to think.

@Fairydust I trust Copernicus and Isaac Newton, not Freemasons.

@DrWatson

They rewrite history 🙃

How do you know he really existed. We’ve all been taught that since school.

Sit down and shut up. 🤫 do as you’re told, this is the facts.

Or is it? 🧑🏻‍🎄

@Fairydust My father worked on the lunar lander program at Grumman Aerospace, and I worked for the company for a while too. I actually have a plaque containing a small piece of mesh from the Apollo 13 lunar module, which the astronauts brought back and shared with Grumman employees as a thank you. My father passed it on to me.

The ships were real, and the landings were real.

Unless of course, you think that my father and I are part of the vast conspiracy to delude everyone.

@DrWatson

So that bit of mesh means they went to the moon and back and it’s all true.

I’ve apparently touched a bit of the moon when I went to the space museum in Washington lol 😂 they say it was the moon 🌑

@Fairydust I have had this argument too many times. I don't have the energy to do it again now. The same things get said, over and over, and nobody changes.

@DrWatson

I’m not arguing 🙃 it’s a discussion.
