@Nexus No the moon being simi-transparent does not prove anything about the Earth. What it does prove is that the moon is just our night light and that it is impossible to land on. Because no one has ever been to the moon, or outer space for that matter it means that we do not have a photograph of the spherical Earth.
@Nexus No one has ever, or will ever go to the moon, as it is just a light with no substance. Yeah NASA pocketed millions of dollars of taxpayer's money. It's okay to be upset about it.

@TBIman You are so wrong. The Moon landing s were real. And recently it was verified by the Chinese who took High Resolution photos of the lunar lander still on the Moon along with equipment they used including mirrors still used to reflect lasers from Earth. Stop being an idiot
@Nexus Strangely enough. All flat earthers behave like this. It’s silly, it’s stupid. But all of them seem to believe that their world view is already an accepted fact of life. They never show any evidence, we ‘re just supposed to know what they’re talking about, and draw the conclusions that reality is part of the conspiracy. Astronauts are paid by NASA to lie, because the world is flat, and they would have to know it, so they must be lying, and since they wouldn’t do it for free, NASA is paying them off. NASA is therefore hiding the obvious fact the world is flat, otherwise why pay the astronauts to lie ? It ridiculous, but they believe that proves their theory.

The moon landings were real. The USSR was closely monitoring the US space program, and if we'd lied about the moon landings, they would have exposed us to embarrass us. The fact that they didn't proves it really happened. Of course, I'm sure you'll explain that away by claiming the Cold War was fake and the US and USSR were working together on the greatest project of humanity - fooling everyone into thinking the earth is round.
@Nexus The flat earthers think every government in the world is collaborating to fool everyone into believing in the round ball earth conspiracy. And when it's pointed out how keeping millions of people quiet about this would be impossible, they turn around and say "only a few people" would need to know the truth.
It's mind-boggling how supposedly intelligent people can fall for this crap.
@LeopoldBloom I saw a pod cast a while ago. A flat Earther called to ask the host if he agreed that NASA had to be paying astronauts huge bribes to keep quite about the true shape of the planet, why else would they have a 23 billion dollar budget? It makes no sense, otherwise.
@DocSavage Not just astronauts, but pilots, geographers, meteorologists, astronomers, the military - possibly millions of people alive today have direct observational experience of the round earth. I guess NASA is paying allo of them off.
A good indicator of whether a conspiracy theory is BS is if a large number of people have to keep quiet and not a single one of them spills the beans. This applies to the JFK conspiracies, the 9/11 truthers, and many others.
@DocSavage The moon has phases because a dragon keeps trying to eat it, but it gets stuck in his throat every time, so he has to spit it out. A lunar eclipse is when it gets stuck so bad, his throat bleeds a little, turning the moon red. A solar eclipse happens when the dragon moves the moon in front of the sun to warm it up a little and hopefully soften it and make it easier to swallow.
