@JimboSaturn No, I'm Greek. I live relatively close to the borders (and very close to a Nato corps , I believe). I was a child during the Yugoslav and Kosovo wars and I remember that I kept asking my mum if we were gonna get bombed too. So, that's when I first got this weird thought 🙃

@SW-User yes I remember you are Greek now. I ask because in Canada we have never been bombed from above

@JimboSaturn Oh, [b]I [/b] haven't either. So it's not really a phobia or something just...a weird thought.

@SW-User I had a dream about it once. I was in the woods and heard a small plane above me so I looked up and just managed to grasp they dropped a bomb on us. The dream ended when I watched the object nearing.

@CrazyMusicLover Sounds more like a nightmare, poor you. I know I'd probably wake up in panic

@SW-User I have a similar idea about someone coming into a movie theater and shooting everyone

@SW-User I don't even remember how I responded when I woke up but I think I was strangely calm in the dream or didn't have much time to freak out anyway. It's that moment when you freeze and realize what just happened and that you're in trouble. For a split second you hope it's too far from you for you to be able to tell it's directed at you and maybe you'll be missed. Then you realize that nope and that there's nothing you can do and it's pointless to even try. There was almost some kind of relief in it.

But I understand the thought of plane attacking you if you watch it from below despite that I had never witnessed any war or military conflict. I blame it on grandma's stories and movies from ww2 I saw as a kid.
