When are we going to do something about this climate change?

The earth keeps getting hotter
Soon we won't be able to live
I can't stand this heatwave!
The temperature reached 33 C today and it was the hottest ever!
In the afternoon I was almost dying but in the night my air conditioner started cooling the house,
It will only get worse in the future!

I've been asking the same question for over 40 years and about all I can figure out is we are going to have to wait until the hubris, arrogance and stupidity of man brings him near to extinction before anything gets done.
