If we're to include microbial extraterrestrial life, I'd say that is more possible and may have happened by hitching a ride on an asteroid blasted out of the surface of one of this solar system's rocky planets or moons.

But advanced life capable of interstellar travel having visited us would have left zero doubts or ambiguity ... you have to think of the sheer magnitude of technological advancement needed for bidirectional travel across light years of distance with ease ... what incentive would there be for something that advanced to keep their visits secret, when they could easily dominate this planet? But I suppose that kind of thinking comes from reading things like the Bible which posit that a deity would both want to create universes but also ponderously be invisible to its inhabitants for no rational reason (which has the fun benefit of leading to them killing each other over said deity/deities because of the ambiguity) ... and that just gets projected onto "aliens" as well, perhaps unconsciously. Only psychosis would account for that behavior in deities, so what are the odds that alien lifeforms advanced enough for interstellar travel would also have similar psychoses and just want to f*ck with everything in their path, or not being capable of 100% effective stealth technology? And what are the odds that alleged alien "crash" victims would be relatively humanoid in appearance? As humans anthropomorphize gods, so they seem to anthropomorphize aliens too.
