@rfatoday someone in Korea has came out with this thing call LK99. so far I don't think anyone else has managed to successfully reproduce that material but even then, if even half of it is valid, I think it's a major breakthrough in that direction.

Moreover, when did allegation become confirmation? If you consider how many light years any nearest habitable planets are from Earth, any species that would be able to traverse that distance with something more nimble than a more passive Voyager probe would most likely be quite unambiguous in announcing its existence itself to the entire world with no room for interpretation.
