What is the best way to get rid of a mouse that's been caught in a live trap?

I wish that it had got into the snap traps tbh. However I have been thinking about sending it to space on a few bottle rockets... What would you do?

I guess you can take a clear plastic zippleable baggie and turn it inside out and take the trap with the mouse and flip it inside out with the mouse in it and zip the baggie and hit the mouse with a shoe hard.
