Social media ban in Australia for children under 16 begins 10 december

What do you people think about it and the impact it will have on children,good,bad,otherwise?
banned from multiple sites,the platforms must block users younger than 16 and remove existing ones.

Parents should not let kids on social media. It is a cess pool. How many kids have committed suicide because of it?

@DogMan Not to mention the easy access it gives predators to kids worldwide.
I have know a few parents whos kids have gotten themselves into a bad situation by talking to people online.
Kids are tech smart and can get pretty creative on how to get around protection settings.
