I Love Kayaking

I've only been kayaking since April. But after my very first paddle I was hooked and decided to get one of my own. I'm lucky to live five minutes from a put in that will let me paddle for miles in either direction along the river. The moment I'm on the water I can feel the stress leave my body and peace fill my soul. On the river surrounded by trees, ducks, heron, beavers, eagles and QUIET I'm blissfully happy.

Interesting. I'm not a Kayaker (is that even a word), though I've enjoyed it the one time I did it to be a certified adult Water Sports trainer for scouting, but I'm familiar with and enjoyed canoeing.
