Bought a kayak

I had a sit-on-top kayak for a year. These are used for fishing, but I am not a fisherman. I found it felt kind of tippy and lost interest, so I sold it and bought a sit-in.
Of course it rains all weekend.
Today there was a break in the afternoon, so I hauled it up on the car and drove to the dock, only to discover there was a club event at the rowing club there and 200 cars with boats all over the place, so I turned around and went home. Back to waiting.
