I Love the Beach

My mother is visiting. She got to town about 10 days ago. Out of those 10 days, I joined her at a beach and/or swimming pool about 7 times. When swimming, I failed to be mistaken for Michael Phelps. Maybe that has something to do with I'm something like 15 years older, several inches shorter and not nearly as built as him.

But, while swimming, I also succeeded in my continued 42 year quest to not drown myself. A casual observer might think that wasn't from lack of me trying.

I also got pretty sunburnt. I used sunscreen, but apparently, not enough of it.
