Dalabadet is a popular sandy beach and is located just 3 kilometers east of the city center of Trelleborg.
The Dalabadet beach has a long bathing jetty, a kiosk and toilets. There is also a wheelchair ramp leading into the water with an bath-wheelchair available.
Who would not just lie on the beach all day, can play on the mini golf course or eat something in the restaurant at the beach. Behind the beach is a large campsite where you can rent a cabin.
Most residents (approximately 28,000) live in the city Trelleborg, the main town of the municipality. The next largest towns are Anderslöv (1,800 inhabitants), Smygehamn (1,300 inhabitants) and Skegrie (1,100 inhabitants). The remaining inhabitants are spread across a total of 31 other towns and villages of the municipality.
With a total area of approximately 342 square kilometers Trelleborgs kommun is one of the smaller Swedish municipalities. The population density of about 126 inhabitants/square kilometers is about six times the average. The municipality of Trelleborg belongs to Greater-Malmö and is part of the so-called Öresund region, the largest Scandinavian business region.
