Went to the beach the other day and saw a few jellyfish 🪼

@Northwest oh I know that’s why I didn’t get very close. There was a lady walking with a dog and they got close to one of them. I heard an ouch, pretty sure she got stung.

@DisarrayedNightshade Yes, ouch is a pretty clear indicator :-) I've tried them, Shanghai style (a Shanghai delicacy). They kind of have al dente pasta texture.

@Northwest i’ve heard some jellyfish are edible. I think I’ll pass on that

@DisarrayedNightshade Yes, the nematocysts, remain active for quite a long time. You were wise not to touch them.
