I took a drive down to the beach today

The tide was out and the shoal was exposed It's a narrow strip of gravel, sand and shells that runs over a mile out into the sound.. there is a lighthouse about a half mile beyond I took a walk out to the end starting from the shore.
As you can see it's quite far.

It was a really nice day, sunny and almost no breeze but chilly.
