Cups of Water Everywhere
At the insistence of one of the people I'd call a friend, even though I'm not really sure if he'd consider me likewise, after a long 3 way conversation, and in a moment of what seemed wise advice,
I began to leave glasses of water in every room of my house.
They are now perpetual fixtures where they stand proudly in their offerings to me.
Sometimes I drink, and sometimes I ignore them, but they are always there.
At times I'll lift one up and think fondly on the conversation that bore them.
Sometimes I'm just thirsty !
Other times I'll look at them in disdain and wonder why I even bother to be sure they're all filled?
But there they all stand so proudly. Sometimes telling me that water is most of what I am.
Other times they beg me to partake and better myself with their consumption.
Still, in different times they look at me staringly in scorn as a beratement of my circumstance.
In in one way or another, each time I answer in my own way.
