Making new friends
Chiara is not the first person to become an instant friend to, I might be a little protective, but she has made friends with Maria, the partner of our sailing master who is essentially sailing up to mainland Italy 🇮🇹. Yes we have provisions on board and we have begun to navigate the island before setting out across the Tyrrhenian Sea.
Lots might not know that the Mediterranean comprises a number of seas, and I recommend you take a Google trip and look at the complexity of this Mare Nostrum, the Latin sea at the centre of the Roman Empire!
So once we are out to sea, Angelo (the captain of the ship) has said we will be able to strip off and sail naked. He has said that we should take the sunscreen precautions to heart and cover our bodies with the stuff! We will be doing that very diligently.
