I love living near the sea

Took a half day yesterday and went to the beach with our new paddle board. Was so so SO much fun. We managed to both stand up and paddle for a while. Although we both fell in at times. My missus has a skill in which as she falls, she seems to turn into some sort of ninja cat and elegantly hits the water with little to no harm. Me however, hit the water like a flat pancake, face first! A bit more practice and who knows where we could paddle. Life jackets are on the agenda next so we can go out into deeper water as yesterday we just paddled along the shore, which was kind of tricky as there were more waves to navigate, hence how sea water face palm happened. One day we’ll be paddling with the dolphins. Then we’ll learn all their secrets.

@Gangstress hopefully not sharks 😬

@GLITTER Sand sharks are harmless. Actually most sharks are harmless.

Not enough fat in us humans.

@DeWayfarer speak for yourself!
Come Christmas time and there's tamales, I disprove your hypothesis!

@basilfawlty89 I used to dive in the ocean, yet here's a second source directly from my own words. You could do so yourself...

Most sharks, including sand sharks, are generally harmless to humans and do not prefer to eat people due to the low fat content in human bodies. In fact, sharks often mistake humans for their natural prey, like seals, but typically release them after a bite.

Don't swim like a seal, which is actually not easy to do.
