I live and look out at the Atlantic Ocean! [I Love the Ocean]
The night is not of vision when the stars hide,
The darkness is a void of echo and sound,
There's nowhere to escape the ubiquitous tide,
Nor the senses ripening feelings surround!
All motion is lost as the darkness assumes,
All fears are gained in your imagination,
All hairs on your neck stretch like Spring blooms
All hail the shadow of frightened rumination.
Whoosh it comes as ghosts from churchless graves,
Whoosh it settles about all reason, all reason,
Hoot you might hear as an owl behind the rave,
There's nowhere to escape the ubiquitous season.
Then light pierced the night to its bloody heart,
It bleeds in revealing spectral colours,
Men look to the placid waters beyond their start,
Wide-eyed children griphold their mothers.
