I Absolutely Love the Ocean

One thing I miss about living near the coastline is the ocean. I love to swim in it. I can watch the waves, the sound they make crashing. Very peaceful and pleasant.

We live near the ocean (Rhosde Island), but just haven't gone yet this year because of Covid-19. Retired to this spot several years ago and love it. Hoping to go soon and we know our town beaches have imposed restrictions, just hope people are sticking to that. Will probably try to go this week or next.

@1pebbles Charlestown beaches, mostly Blue Shutters because it's closest to us, but also Charlestown Town Beach, over close to South Kingstown border, on occasion.

@1pebbles The year of Superstorm Sandy (2012?), Blue Shutters beach took a hard hit, the following year the beach was a lot narrower but the same amount of people went there. Not pleasant. So we went toCharlestown Town Beach that year. But, the following year Blue Shutters re-cooped, which was wonderful, and that's where we go most of the time.
