I have a similar spot in a county park.
There’s no swimming allowed but it’s almost never patrolled and I found a place behind a hill out of site of the trails

Reminds me of fishing trips in Minnisota. I used to take a half day off from fishing with the guys and go upriver to next lake which had no cottages on it. Great place to skinny dip and lay in the sun.

The river had a few good spots too.
